Our Center
Choices Pregnancy & Health was established in August of 1990 (then called Crisis Pregnancy Center of Eastern Illinois) and is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization.
Our purpose is to provide accurate information, compassionate care and material support to women and families who find themselves in an unplanned pregnancy situation. We also educate and inform those who are at risk for sexually transmitted diseases of the danger of sexual relations outside of marriage. By offering these services we are affirming life and sharing the love of Christ in action.
When a girl or woman comes to us either fearing or knowing she is pregnant we offer a variety of services to meet her needs. Our compassionate care includes a free pregnancy test, a limited obstetrical ultrasound, truthful information about all of her choices, unconditional and non-judgmental support, material assistance and much more.
Our Mission
Even though Roe v. Wade has been overturned, that doesn't change how Illinois operates. (You can read about the Supreme Court Ruling here: Dobbs in Plain English.) Many women will flee to Illinois seeking abortion care, because the states around us have eliminated or limited abortions. Choices Pregnancy & Health continues to be a Christ-centered Ministry that acknowledges the absolute worth of all human life and exists to provide accurate information, compassionate care and practical assistance to those affected by a possible unplanned pregnancy and related issues.
